Intel approached Start to help create a multi-channel retail vision for the entire computing category. We had to tackle existing customer confusion and inertia.
Our idea was to demonstrate ‘What Next’ for consumers as a multi-channel shopping experience, organised around their needs - be these at home, on mobile or in-store. We then created was a prototype facility to test the technology, and showcase it to Intel and its retail network.
Upsell increased dramatically:
- Willingness to spend within 2 months increased from 33% to 44% with 42% planning to buy within one week.
- Those planning to spend more than €1000 increased from 14% to 30%.
