Adidas approached Start to help create the digital centrepiece for their new retail concept, ‘Home Court Arena’. Footwear is key to the Adidas business, forming the heart of the new store concept. Our challenge was to create a digital experience intrinsic to the physical retail environment.

Many digital retail interfaces are heavily product-centric, with SKU-only entry points. Customers only get one choice – see specific product details, or leave. We developed a modular, scalable platform that hosts a wide range of content for every shopper’s need, and can be deployed in multiple languages, world-wide. From the Shoe Finder that helps customers select the very best shoes for them, to interactive experiences that increase brand engagement and awareness, the Home Court Arena digital experience takes consumers beyond the physical. Interrogating their opinions and choices, to give them the best recommendations – whether they are total sneakerphiles or casual browsers.
