The Couture Club started life on Instagram. Founders, reality TV star, Ross Worswick and his business partner, Scott Shashua, created it to celebrate Manchester’s street style, offering premium quality men’s clothing at high street prices. The pieces were originally modelled by Ross and Scott themselves, socialised on Instagram and sold via its own ecommerce site. The brand fast developed a strong following via social media, winning an almost cult-like status with fans. Start’s job was to design a store experience that met these high expectations and reflected their lifestyles, reinforcing the brand’s street-cred and bringing The Couture Club’s spirit to life for new and existing customers.
The result is a social space that’s designed to feel like a pre-party hangout, perfectly capturing the brand’s online vibe. Mancunian DJ’s take residence to play tracks while people shop. A barber shop in-store makes sure everyone is always #instaready, whilst fashion feeds and celeb-shots provide inspiration and product details. Striking tattoo-inspired artwork layer through the space, echoing the passion, style and creativity of the brand’s loyal followers.
